The Greater Metropolitan Automobile Dealers Association of Minnesota

The Greater Metropolitan Automobile Dealers Association of Minnesota, Inc. is a voluntary organization of the majority of new car and truck franchised dealerships in the greater eight county Minneapolis/Saint Paul metropolitan area.

GMADA/BBB Advertising Review Program

The program has received national attention for having helped dealerships in Minnesota maintain ethical standards in their advertising. Attorney General in Minnesota have praised the program as an example of how an industry group can work with the BBB to promote ethical practices through self-regulation.

Union Negotiations

GMADA negotiates service department labor agreements for Saint Paul Dealers with District Lodge No. 77 (Machinist's Union) and Minneapolis Dealers with Local No. 974 (Teamster's Union).

Public Relations

To keep the public informed of the general high character and excellent reputation of our franchised new automobile and truck dealers, news releases regarding the industry are furnished to newspapers and local radio and television stations.

Scholarships

GMADA annually awards twenty-five (25) $2,000 college and technical school scholarships to employees of GMADA dealerships or sons or daughters of GMADA dealer employees. For more information on this important scholarship program, please contact our offices. Once again, these scholarships are excusively for employees of GMADA dealerships and their families.

GMADA sponsors the largest Auto Show in the Upper Midwest each year with over 400,000 people attending annually. This is the place to be if you are shopping for a new vehicle (cars, trucks, conversion vans, sport utility vehicles, etc.), investigating all the new year models or checking out the assorted concept vehicles.
